Distinct personalities
The parents’ decision worked out beautifully. The separation of the classes allowed each of them to make different friends, and they began to express themselves in a very different and lively way. Some were athletes who loved to be physically active, some were voracious readers who loved to read quietly, and some were good-natured entertainers who always made everyone around them laugh. No one lumps them together as sevens any longer. Their parents’ strategy to encourage their independence seemed to have been a great success. However, an unexpected turn of events awaited them when they became high school students.
