Chapter 31 – Farewell to Jake
Jake decided to join a whale research team in Antarctica.
“I’ll carry on what you started,” he told Sarah.
At the harbor, she hugged him tightly.
“You’ve been more than an assistant,” she said.
“No,” he smiled, “I’ve been your student.”
As his ship disappeared, Sarah waved through tears—proud of his journey.
