Desperate Care
Upon returning to the facility, Mark immediately began caring for the kittens. First, he warms them up and prepares special milk. However, the newborn kittens were unable to drink on their own. Mark fed the kittens every two hours and stayed up through the night to take care of them. Sleep was cut short, and the kitten was on his mind even when he was not at work. Jennifer, a co-worker, said worriedly, “Mark, you look tired. Mark, you’re tired,” she said, but he shook his head. But Mark shook his head. That was all he wanted to do.
