Police Arrival
The sound of sirens came closer and closer. Eventually it stopped in front of the hospital. Emily looked out the window and gasped. Two police cars and a vehicle marked “Wildlife Refuge” were parked behind them. Two uniformed police officers and a Department of Conservation employee entered the hospital. They spoke with Sarah, the receptionist, about something and then headed toward the back where the x-ray room was located. Emily stood up. What in the world is happening to Luna?
