The night the vet didn’t show up
Finally, the due date for the baby is approaching. Mike stayed at the zoo every night. He would stay in a sleeping bag beside Bella and keep an eye on her. He kept his nerves sharp so as not to miss even the slightest change. Jessica took turns accompanying them. Taking turns taking naps, they watch over Bella around the clock. Then came the fateful night. At 11:30 p.m., Bella’s condition suddenly changed. She started having contractions. Mike immediately called the vet. But the vet was in the middle of another emergency surgery. The director answered the phone. I’ll be right there. You guys will be fine.
