Social networking flames
The next morning, my phone wouldn’t stop ringing: social networking sites were ablaze. The photo went viral, and the comments section was filled with abuse and defenses: “Kill it,” “It’s the owner’s ego,” and so on. The number of notifications exceeded 1,000. Dakota closed the app. Unable to return the calls from her friends, she locks herself in her room. Everything seemed to be falling apart. Outside the window, a news van was already parked.
