James’ Preparedness
When James returned home, he said to Emily, “I’m sorry about the heat. Emily was relieved to see her husband’s calm demeanor, but she was mistaken. I want you to be honest with me, that man is your other father, isn’t he? James’ resolution was to get Emily to confess her betrayal. She was desperate to clear up the misunderstanding. She is trying her best to clear up the misunderstanding, “Do you think I’m a fool?” James’ anger flared up again as he realized that this woman still thought she could cheat on him.
